Rihanna's Rockers
This is the home page of the Roselea Football Club Women's Under 21 year old ladies soccer team. We are all under 21 years of age but play soccer in an all-age competition against women of all ages in the North-West Sydney Women's Football Competition in Sydney, NSW, Australia. We are thrilled to have Rihanna as our patron! We did very well in 2011 and made the semi-finals of the NSW State Champions of Champions Competition in October 2011. We hope to do even better this year.
27 March 2012Rebecca and Stacey attended a special practical soccer session with the Australian National Women's Coach, Tom Sermanni, last night in the Eastern Suburbs. The session was designed for coaches of elite players aged 9-14 to learn from the best under the National Skill Acquisition Program.
Stacey is coaching an Under-10 team this year, and both Rebecca and Stacey learnt a lot about various facets of the game broken down into great detail as explained and demonstrated by Tom Sermanni.
A chance to listen, observe and learn from the Matilda's National Coach was a fantastic experience for the girls and one that they will get great benefit from this season, as well as Stacey teaching her little ones.

The team has previously had trips to New Caledonia and New Zealand. The girls are excited to meet Frank Doyle from Soccer Hawaii, Rihanna's soccer coach in the movie Battleship.

Rihanna's Rockers going to Hawaii
...Rihanna's Rockers are going international in their search for competition. The four-time division one champions have organised an end-of-season trip to Hawaii to play the Honolulu Bulls Women's Soccer Club.The team has previously had trips to New Caledonia and New Zealand. The girls are excited to meet Frank Doyle from Soccer Hawaii, Rihanna's soccer coach in the movie Battleship.
